Justified

OK, so recently I've come to realize that my addiction to this blog has rendered me incapable of going anywhere or doing any sort of activity without obtaining photographic evidence of said activity. I was beginning to feel like I was going a teensy bit overboard in my compulsion to post-until today. There was a speaker in sacrament who talked about the importance of keeping a personal history-which is basically totally in support of a blogging habit! So I decided that this is my attempt to record some sort of journal for my family. That way, when the boys are older I will have proof of what a wonderful mother I was and what a magical childhood they had. Because, you know, I don't take pictures of the beatings:) Anyway, for those of you who view the Rumpus regularly, thank you for putting up with what is really probably just me showing off my family. I'm sure the obsession will loose its allure someday, but for now, stay tuned for more pictures:)

Disclaimer: No children have actually been beaten...

I love seeing your pictures! And I totally agree with the idea that blogging is family history work - absolutely!! As a side note, did you know that you can even have yuor blog published into a bound book (it's about $30 for 50 pages or something)!! So then you can really say it's like a scrapbook or family journal in real paper format! (I wrote a blog post about this awhile back - I just love that idea and plan on doing it someday!)
Anyway - blogging is great and don't let anyone even try to convince you otherwise. :)
See ya!

I totally agree! And it's not like it takes long to publish a post. It's way quicker than it would be to write down everything you do and think how much money we're saving by doing this instead of scrapbooking! :)

Ditto. I'm addicted too, and have found lots of good "justifications" for it. Now I just have nothing else I can do, so...even better.

I am the same way. My camera is with me at all times now and I am constantly snapping. I decided early on that this was my way of scrapbooking since I don't do anything else.

you're so funny! I never thought of his talk like that. So it's okay that my children are doing who knows what right now, because I'm blogging and that's okay. Cute pics by the way.

Emily!! This is your favorite step-second-cousin Kristine! I found your blog from Katie's, so I hope you don't mind me peeking in on your WILD RUMPUS, but I love it! You are an adorable mother with darling children! This Blog thing makes me crazy with the amount of time I spend looking and doing mine too!! But like you, it is my journal! Say hello to your mom for me!
