Legs

Yes. This is what you think it is-a tarantula. At least that's what it looks like to me. Huge, hairy and scary. To put his size in perspective this isn't just a pint mason jar. It's pretty big, like half a gallon. Much to my horror Tyler caught him in the road by our house. I've heard rumors that our neighbors have seen these around, but wasn't sure I believed them until now. Hayes named him Legs and hit the nail on the head when he said, "Whoa! He's freaky but I still like him." Camille hit the nail on the head when she said, "I hope there aren't any in your basement. Or your bed."

Emily that's disgusting! I am sorry you even have to THINK about that being in your basement, or worse, your bed! I'm sure the boys love it...Jacob said "...oh..."

I've heard that they are around here, but now you have proven it. Darron is wondering why I'm here at my computer saying "Oh, no!" I have seen the black widows, but "Legs" has my gazillion black widows beat!

Those are so gross. We have them out here as well. They are all marked for death as far as I'm concerned.

I'd move. Just kidding. Although my neighbor is seriously considering moving because she had a garter snake in her yard. I'm glad that she wasn't faced with Legs, because he would surely scare her off, and she's a really good neighbor! I hope I don't find one at my house...They give me the creeps!

That is a good big one. Look up on your computer "bird spider" and see if it is like yours. They live here and are not quite as furry as a tarantula.
It was so good to see you yesterday!

EWWEE!!!!!
Again, EWWWEEE!!!! I hope they're not in your bed, either!

What about 'kid spiders' - if there are bird spiders, then maybe...? Good luck with that? Are you feeding in crikets? I bet it could down a mormon cricket in no time!
